I Am Not My Hair…

….But my current situation in no way reflects who I am! Lol!

Ladies, you know, once you find a great hairstylist it is so hard to trust anyone else with your hair, even yourself. One of the hardest parts about being away from home is missing family and friends. Well missing your friend and amazing hairstylist is right up there with them.

I can't wait to visit home so Liz Bailey can do her magic. Thought I'd post a fun blog about some of the different hairstyles I've worn over the 4 years since Liz has been doing my hair.

Isn't she beautiful?

The first time Liz ever did my hair was on my wedding day! Some people thought I was crazy to try someone new on such a special day. She was introduced to me through Tj because she cut his hair. Yes, she's also a very talented barber.

After my wedding, I wanted a big chop! I am in love with short hair and she did NOT disappoint
Then there was the time she gave me a fohawk

Did I mention she is a color specialist?

One of my favorite's…black with peek-a-boo purple

So everyone who knows me knows I am not a huge fan of weave but we were about to go to Europe on vacation and I figured why not do something totally out of character. She makes hair fun for me!

Oh boy, Tj wasn't too happy about this one!

But it was SOoOo funky and I LOVED it

I was so excited about this high bun she created

Then I loved this braid
After Noelle was born I wanted another hairstyle that was completely different for me
Not your average "Mom-do"

Then she cut it shorter to switch it up

We've been in a long distance relationship before when we traveled the last time. It was hard but we got through it, just like we will this time.

Mean while…the struggle is real (insert ugly cry face emoji)

I refer her to everyone I know.

She did my friend Maddy's hair for her wedding.
My friend Joanne for her wedding

Liz went from being my hairstylist to my friend who also happens to do my hair. I love her spunk, honesty and realness. She is as real as they come and she is so positive and encouraging. Her faith in God is inspiring and she is also an amazing mother. And she loves to laugh!

We love Ezra and can't wait to get home and catch up

So the question is, what's next? Here's a little of my inspiration from @thecutlife on Instagram

LOVE!!!
Kelly Osbourne's hair is everything!
I want so much to cut my hair but I told myself (really my husband) I was going to try and grow it out….for now!

I love how adventurous you are with your hair! I'm sure your stylist loves that she gets to try so many styles on you! Looking forward to seeing what you do next!

Thank you Kim!! She has such a great imagination, it's fun to give her the reigns.
