12 Weeks

Yay!! We finally made it to 12 weeks. What a relief! I was like all Mommy's to be stressing in the wait to get past the 12 week mark. And now the secret is out.....

Is This Normal?

Let me share with you a couple of text that I receive after sending my best friend pics of my belly in the morning vs. the evening!!

"OMG!! What are you eating?"

"Are you sure that the doctor didn't miss an extra heart beat?"

"Are you bloated? I'm so confused"

"Could you be further along?"

So you're thinking, "she obviously has never been pregnant before", or "it can't be that drastic"

11 Weeks

10 Weeks

We're in double digits!!!!! My belly is officially the "Itchy & Scratchy" show! What the hell is going on here? How is my midsection already expanding at this pace? It doesn't seem quite right! But I can tell a huge difference is my 8 and 10 week photos. Yes, I'm sure its not twins and no, I have not gained any weight. I know women experience this at different stages, yay for me it has already begun!

9 Weeks

If I wasn't pregnant I'd swear I do just about anything to make my stomach stop hurting!! UGH!!! Why do my insides hate me?!!!! I've had stomach problems since a child and finally decided to spend an insane amount of money to find out what it was a few months back. After an Upper GI, a swallow study and more than a grand, delayed gastric emptying.....seriously?! That's it? Not this gnarly GI bug that grows and gets worse with every bite I take, eating your insides?! Ok fine, I took a 2 week coarse of Reglan, while in Europe might I add, which was a serious commitment! The stomach pain was gone aaaaaannnnnnddddd a month later I'm pregnant, wiping out all the progress I had just made. This was the ONLY thing I didn't want!!! Bring on the nausea, vomiting and excessive salvation (seriously joking) but not the stomach aches!!! -__- This week has been the worst! Hoping it gets better soon, Lord please!!!!!

8 WEEKS!!!

Yay!!!!! Starting my baby bump pics this week! My best friend Blair met me at Joanne Fabrics to choose the background and number display for the pictures. I wanted something fun and I had to make my pics a little more unique with a patterned background that wasn't neutral. I've always loved the chalkboard but it's been done.

Maternity Shopping

= not gonna happen. These people have got to be out of their ever loving minds. It was my first time in the store and I took along my friend Joanne. Every article of clothing I picked up was immediately put back down due to the price tag. Is this a joke? I know the clothes have more material because they are larger but umm yeah not $120 for a par of shorts with a band around the waist. A large size at good ol' Forever 21 will have to do! But it was really fun going in and trying some stuff on, including the 7 month fake belly. Plus the free juice, water and fiber bars!! I know it's pretty soon to be shopping at the maternity stores but I had a reason! My husband got me a gift card to Destination Maternity for our anniversary, a week after we found out we were pregnant :) How sweet!! There was a promotional sale so I couldn't resist. Wondering what BM stands for, you guessed it "baby momma"!! LOL!
