You know the feeling of trusting God for something and believing whole heartedly that He's going to do it but when it actually happens, you are still in complete AWE of Him?!! Yeah me too :))
MrsHazleyandaBaby blog is about to get a lot more fun because…I'm going to be a traveling nurse (again)!!! Tj will work remotely and come along while I take nursing contracts in different cities and this time around we'll be plus one. We were so blessed to be able to do this together a couple years ago before I started at my current job and God has made a way for us to do it once more. After coming back to work from my maternity leave I met several travel nurses and began sparking conversations with them about my time as a traveler and about their current adventures. I wasn't sure if this was something I could have ever imagined doing again (especially with an infant), but it sure sounded intriguing. I came home telling my husband about my new coworkers and that's how we ended up here.
We started praying that if God saw fit for us to do this again that he would make a way. The ease of this move has been insane. My husband's boss and mentor was so gracious as to allow Tj to work remotely again with 100% of his support. After he got the okay, I went to my nurse manager. She was sad to hear that I wanted to leave but completely understood why we were doing it and said she'd welcome me back with open arms. I can't tell you how great this felt. It can be so scary making a step like this but with God everything is possible and I thank Him for the fearlessness he has given us.
Once we got their support we began making plans for our home. We decided to rent it out and the SAME DAY of it being posted for rent, we had a showing and an application submitted. The crazy part is the family is from Orange, CA. The last place that Tj and I traveled to on assignment before moving home. It was fate. Within 2 weeks, the house was under contract for rent and the wait began for the job.
I was not willing to work anything other than a 12 hour day shift, for a total of 36 hours (my usual schedule). And when I tell you between the 5 companies I was in contact with, NONE of them had 12 hour day shift positions. Tons of day/night rotation (not on your life) and 8 hour days, 5 days a week (I'll be damned). I knew that God was going to have to make a way out of NO way. We waited and waited with no new openings for the shift I was looking for. A job in Santa Rosa, CA became available with 12 hr days and we jumped. I was all set for an interview and then I was made aware that the hospital had changed its needs and was now looking for a nurse to work 8 hour days. Bummed, we prayed harder and waited more. Lord have mercy the waiting!!! He may not come when you want Him, but He'll be there right on time. About a week later I got a phone call for another 12 hour day position and I said YES….yes..yes…yes!!! After interviewing, it felt like forrrrreeeevvveeeerrrrrrrr until we heard back. I knew it was going to be fierce competition for the position because it was in a great location and for the simple fact that it was one of the only 12 hour day positions available. When I finally heard back, I was told "You must have good karma" because not only was I chosen over the stiff competition but I was approved my requested days off that land at the beginning of the contract. My response "No I'd like to think it's God"! Lol!!
Ok ok, so where are we moving to...
AHHHHH!!!!! We're beyond excited!! It's going to be a great summer!
The contract is for 13 weeks and starts July 2nd :) After that we don't know where we'll be but we know that God will lead us in the right direction!!! We'd like to travel for about a year, maybe longer. He faithfulness has been unbelievable and I can't wait to see what He has in store for our family!
It's going to be so much fun posting about the things we find for Noelle to get into and things to do as a family. We always knew we wanted her to be a traveler but we didn't expect she'd start so soon :)

-How to transport breast milk across the country (ugh)
-Trying to avoid stranger anxiety when your baby is only around Mom and Dad
-Does this city have a Buy Buy Baby? Very important
I pray that Noelle looks to us as inspiration that you don't have to live a life expected of you. Living in a box is NOT why Christ died for us. She should not be a afraid to take huge leaps of faith, because even if she falls He'll be there to pick her up.
