Aruba

Bon Bini!!! The island of Aruba was never on my bucket list because of….you know. Well we felt no danger on this desert island and it gave me a generous dose of "get yo life"!! You know that feeling when you get a chance to just feel like you? To have a no kid zone, get your sexy back, get dolled up for yourself and your husband, whatever you want to call it, it was all that for me. It was really nice to get away with just my husband and close friends. After a crazy summer it was a great way to reconnect. There are lots of pictures so do some finger and wrist exercises because you will be scrolling but you won't regret it!

NYC

If you are considering visiting this great city with a child in diapers, think again!!! Oh Big Apple, your concrete jungle fills my eyes with wonder, my thoughts with splendor, my feet with pain and my prayers of changing tables! We took this trip with our travel buddies De and Somaiya. We have had so many adventures together and this was the first with kids. It was an experience to say the least. Our last trip involved hitting the club in Rome and getting kicked out of an H&M in Barcelona. Stories for another time perhaps. Their son's name is Liam and he turned 9 months in the city that never sleeps. Though there was no turn up, it was a fun none the less!!

29 In Chicago Part 2

That night we headed to dinner on the 95th floor of the John Hancock building.

29 In Chicago Part 1

The second stop on our #summerofvacations was good ol' Chi-town! Hello Beautiful!!!! This was our second time in Chicago and we had always planned to come back for the taste! We were so excited to be here. We got off the plane, put our bags down and headed to the food.

Jamaican Me Crazy!!! 3 years of Wedded bliss!

Mr. Hazley and I had already planned this trip to Jamaica very strategically just in case we were pregnant! As I said before I had looked forward to indulging in the all inclusive swim up bars, not this time. But still the trip was amazing!! We did our usual exciting adventures including tubing a river and climbing Dunn's River Falls! "It's not dangerous" they said, "no problem if she's pregnant" they said, as my Grandma would say "SHHHHiT"! Somebody lied, I mean, I was ok but we almost saw a gnarly fall and she would have totally been a goner if she kept falling. Tj kept reminding me to fall backwards towards him if I fell. LOL!

No Problem Mon!!

We also got to take some pretty cool pictures for our memories of being pregnant at this time and I also wanted to take some pics to reveal on Facebook at a later date! It was the first time that I really had some serious aversion to foods. The Jamaican food, which would have on any other circumstance made me very happy, left me feeling blah!! I wasn't into or excited about ANY of it! I just wanted bland food or Olive Garden, which obviously wasn't possible. I honestly don't know if my sense of smell was heightened but things were definitely starting to get to me. I wasn't nauseous just disinterested. But the trip was a success and now we were that much closer to our first appointment. Thank God for the week away because I was losing it waiting for this appointment. It couldn't come faster!!
